Where's Sharkie?

Thursday, October 28th - Hmm... Yeah, I know. I haven't put anything up about the Big Big News. Sorry about that, folks... time just seems to slip away. Sharkie and Mom are still doing well, all things considered. The little guy (or girl) is head-down, and mom is doing the dialating and effacing thing. He/she hasn't dropped yet, but there's still a few weeks to go. Hopefully less than more. For those of you keeping track at home, Laura is still due on Nov. 26th. I promise I will try to keep things updated on the site.

Oh, and for your amusement (or enragement)... I give you the Bush Truck.

Wednesday, May 14th - Yep, it's true. Come September, these lil chillins is-a headin' back home. Hopefully, everyone has heard the news by now, but in case you haven't, here's the lowdown: I have worked out a deal with my company which allows me to work from home. Betty and Dan have been kind enough to offer their newly renovated basement as living quarters for us, so we are homeward bound.

Wednesday, January 15th - Ok, ok. So Laura tells me that putting the message board under the News section doesn't make any sense. I just don't know where else to put it. I think more than anything, I should rename News to something else. Again, I haven't a clue as to what I should rename it. Nonetheless, thank you all for visiting and providing your feedback on the site. One of these days I'll get Laura to take it over... -Nate

Monday, January 13th - Well, I should be getting to work pretty soon, but I wanted to get the new Message Board up first. It's a bit primitive, but functional. Enjoy! -Nate

Sunday, December 22nd - Three months later, and finally we get an update released. What a mess. But hopefully it will all be worth it. I am releasing my first attempt at getting some decent dynamic content up on this site. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to present to you the new Photo Album! I know it still needs a lot of work, but I am really feeling the need to get something up and running before I grow old here. So, poke around a bit and let me know what you think. My next project will be putting a guestbook on the site and possibly real-time webcam images. But that won't be for a while.

Monday, October 7th - Well, today marks the launch of the updated version of GoddessLaura.com. It also marks (gulp) 6 days to the wedding. But I must confess that it isn't the prospect of getting married that worries me. Laura is a wonderful woman and has always been the light of my life. Instead, I find myself worrying about the details... Making sure that the ceremony is perfect, practising my dance steps, getting rings polished. I suppose it's normal (especially for me, being the control freak that I am), but I want to make sure that everyone enjoys the day. So, I apologise to anyone who comes to the site regularly seeking updates (and I know that there are a few of you out there), but I am pressed for time. This will be the last update before the big day... Well, for a long time, really. I do have other projects that have suffered due to the upcoming nupituals, but after all, this is the most important day of my life. We both are really looking forward to seeing everyone. California is not where we belong... not forever anyway. We miss everyone back home and are doing our best to find our way back to New Jersey. Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but soon... and for the rest of our lives.

Sunday, September 1st - Well, seeing as how everyone seems to have received their invitations, we have tried to spiff up the wedding section a bit. We hope you find everything you need. If not, please send us an email, and we will take care of it as soon as possible. Again, thank you all for being a part of this day in our lives. Even if you are not able to attend the wedding, we know that the occasion will be full of your spirit, and we are grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
